At one time they have worked on building custom homes, complete gut and replace remodeling, flipping homes, commercial build outs and home modfications for all abilities (ADA). They have attended classroom training and factory certifications. They spend time each year doing coursework, expanding their knowledge about such things as building codes, National Home Builders Assocation coursework and more. Certified Aging In Place specialist is one such certification that is sponsored by The National Home Builders Assocation and AARP. Today with one person turning 65 every 20 seconds it's important to remodel with the idea that you are staying in your home past retirement age.
